🥐CROISSANT RECIPE

Ingredients:

All Purpose Flour – 2 Cups (250g)

Warm Water 1/3 cup (80-90 ml)

Sugar – 1 tbsp (10g).

Instant Yeast or Dry Yeast – 1 tbsp (8g).

Warm Milk – 1/5 cup (50 ml).

Salt – 2/3 tsp (4g).

Butter: 5 tbsp soft butter (50g) for dough and 15 tbsp soft butter for grease (150g).

Direction:

  1. In a bowl add warm water, sugar, and yeast now mix and leave for 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. After 10 minutes add warm milk and salt and again mix it.
  3. Now, Add the flour in the mixture bowl and start to knead the Dough.
  4. Now, Add butter (50g) in it and again knead it until become smooth
  5. Put a side for rest 1 hour or until become double in size
  6. Now take out the dough from bowl on well-floured surface
  7. Divide the dough in equal parts
  8. Take one part and make it like a ball
  9. Roll out the dough into a circle
  10. Grease with the butter
  11. Put the Dough on top of each other with butter greasing
  12. Now put it in fridge for one hour or until become chill
  13. Now transfer the dough on well-floured surface
  14. Roll out the dough into a large rectangular shape.
  15. More roll out give better result
  16. Trim the side for perfect rectangular shape
  17. Now Cut the dough into a triangle shape
  18. Cut a small from the center then roll it up tightly
  19. Transfer to the baking sheet and give rest for 1 hour at room temperature
  20. Now give the egg wash and bake it in Oven.
  21. Your Croissant is ready to serve.

⏳ Baking Temperature: 190° (375°F) for 20-25 minutes
