🥐CROISSANT RECIPE
Ingredients:
All Purpose Flour – 2 Cups (250g)
Warm Water 1/3 cup (80-90 ml)
Sugar – 1 tbsp (10g).
Instant Yeast or Dry Yeast – 1 tbsp (8g).
Warm Milk – 1/5 cup (50 ml).
Salt – 2/3 tsp (4g).
Butter: 5 tbsp soft butter (50g) for dough and 15 tbsp soft butter for grease (150g).
Direction:
- In a bowl add warm water, sugar, and yeast now mix and leave for 5 to 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes add warm milk and salt and again mix it.
- Now, Add the flour in the mixture bowl and start to knead the Dough.
- Now, Add butter (50g) in it and again knead it until become smooth
- Put a side for rest 1 hour or until become double in size
- Now take out the dough from bowl on well-floured surface
- Divide the dough in equal parts
- Take one part and make it like a ball
- Roll out the dough into a circle
- Grease with the butter
- Put the Dough on top of each other with butter greasing
- Now put it in fridge for one hour or until become chill
- Now transfer the dough on well-floured surface
- Roll out the dough into a large rectangular shape.
- More roll out give better result
- Trim the side for perfect rectangular shape
- Now Cut the dough into a triangle shape
- Cut a small from the center then roll it up tightly
- Transfer to the baking sheet and give rest for 1 hour at room temperature
- Now give the egg wash and bake it in Oven.
- Your Croissant is ready to serve.
