Ingredients:
For Cake making:
All-Purpose Flour – 2 Cup
Milk (whole or any) – 1 Cup
Granulated Sugar – 1 ½ Cup
Softened Butter (Unsalted) – ½ Cup
Salt – ½ Tsp (Skip if using Salted Butter)
Eggs – 3 Large
Baking Powder – 3 ½ Tsp
Vanilla (Essence or Extract) – 1 Tsp
For the Frosting (Buttercream):
Softened Butter (Unsalted) – 1 Cup
Sugar Powder – 4 Cup
Vanilla (Essence or Extract) – 2 Tsp
Milk or Heavy Cream or – 2-4 Tsp
Salt – A pinch or to taste

Cake Batter Preparing:
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Now, Add & Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix.
Bake the Cake:
- Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for about 10 minutes, then turn them out onto wire racks to cool completely.

Prepare the Frosting:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until well combined.
- Now Add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Add heavy cream or milk, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency. Beat until light and fluffy.
Assemble the Cake:
- Once the cakes are completely cool, place one layer on a serving plate.
- Spread a layer of frosting over the top.
- Place the second cake layer on top and frost the top and sides of the cake as desired.
